Middleville Tool & Die Company, Inc. is a C - Corporation with main offices, die shop, and stamping facilities located at 1900 Patterson Rd Middleville, Michigan 49333.
In the fall of 1965, Forest Middleton paid $7,500 for equipment in a garage on Franklin St. in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His younger brother, Kenneth, quit his job and together they formed Middleville Tool and Die Company. Five of their first six jobs came from Lescoa, where Forest was the Chief Engineer. Kenneth worked days and Forest, after his day job, worked nights. On weekends they employed their children. In July of 1966, the company was incorporated and the two families built the original building. Forest continued his day job into the early 1970's while Ken and his wife, Lois, managed and nurtured the business.
In 1966, the company was formed to provide the stamping industry with the highest quality design and build of metal stamping dies. Since that time it has continually, and carefully, expanded their capabilities and facilities, in order to maintain the competitive stature in the industry.
Middleville Tool and Die, Co. can be characterized as a designer, builder, and supplier of the highest quality, most cost competitive, tooling, metal stampings, and welded assemblies.
In 1966, the company had total sales of $20,000. We have continued to operate profitably since inception.
